Liberty League Names Three As Top Performers
Jabel Prom, Michelle Clemente & Anthony Casale recognized

TROY, N.Y. – The Liberty League has announced its weekly Performers of the Week in men's soccer, field hockey and football and three Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athletes have been selected. Jabel Prom and Michelle Clemente were named the Offensive Performers of the Week in men's soccer and field hockey, respectively, while Anthony Casale was tabbed as the Defensive Performer of the Week in football.

A senior forward from Rensselaer, N.Y., Clemente scored two goals, including a game-winner, and added an assist in RPI's 3-1 victory over Hamilton. She also had a team-high six shots in the game. Clemente then added a team-best three shots in a loss to #18 St. Lawrence the following day.

The Columbia High School graduate leads the Red Hawks in scoring with a team-high five goals and two assists for 12 points. Ranked fifth in the Liberty League in shots on goal per game (3.91 average), she has 43 shots on the season, including a team-best 26 on goal.

RPI's men's soccer team (5-4-2; 1-2-1 Liberty League) hosts Keene State on Wednesday (6:30pm) and league-rival Vassar on Saturday (2pm) at Harkness Field. The field hockey squad (5-6; 1-3 LL) returns to action on Wednesday against Utica (4pm) at Harkness Field and then travels to Keene State on Sunday (1pm). The 23rd-ranked football team (5-0; 3-0 LL) is idle this week and returns to action on October 20th against Merchant Marine at '86 Field (1pm).
